Karachi: With winter around the corner, gas prices in Sindh and Balochistan may go up soon. The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has formally requested the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to approve a price hike of Rs. 125.41 per MMBTU for consumers in both provinces.
If approved, the average gas price will rise to Rs. 1,783.96 per MMBTU for the current financial year.
OGRA is set to hold a public hearing in Karachi on November 11 to review the proposal and gather stakeholder feedback.
