The Sindh government has taken a major digital leap by launching the Sindh Job Portal (SJP) — the country’s first-ever online system for applying to government jobs.
Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the initiative, developed jointly by the Sindh Information Technology Department and Sukkur IBA University. The platform promises to make government recruitment faster, fairer, and fully transparent.

At the launch event, CM Sindh highlighted that the Sindh Job Portal fulfills the late Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s vision of “employment for everyone.”
Recalling her slogan — “Benazir Aaie Hae, Rozgar Laie Hae” — he said the initiative ensures that every qualified youth in Sindh gets equal access to job opportunities.
🔁 Retake Policy for Candidates
The chief minister announced that candidates who do not pass the recruitment test on their first attempt can retake it multiple times.
Moreover, the Sindh government will fully cover the cost of the first attempt, ensuring inclusivity and opportunity for all.
📊 326,000 Candidates Already Passed — Monthly Tests to Continue
According to CM Shah, over 326,000 candidates have already cleared various recruitment tests through the Sukkur IBA system.
He added that monthly tests will now be conducted, with instant result generation — a huge step toward efficiency and merit-based hiring.
📁 Easy Application Process Through SJP
Applicants can now upload their educational documents, CNIC, and domicile directly to the IBA-managed portal.
Once verified, a comprehensive candidate database will be created, allowing eligible applicants to apply directly for government jobs across departments.

CM Shah explained how the new portal connects government departments in real time.
For example, if the Education Department needs 100 clerks, the Finance Department can instantly confirm the budget, and the Information Department will publish the listing — all on the same day.
This eliminates delays, prevents duplicate posts, and ensures transparency across the system.
