The Punjab government has announced plans to revise the 11th class syllabus, following widespread feedback from students and teachers regarding excessive content and factual errors.
According to official sources, after finalizing changes to the ninth-grade syllabus, the government will now begin reviewing and simplifying the first-year (11th class) curriculum as well.

🏛️ Curriculum Under Review
The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB) has formed special committees to identify and remove unnecessary or repetitive content.
Officials said the move aims to make textbooks easier to understand and more aligned with modern learning standards.
“Students faced difficulty due to lengthy and error-prone chapters, especially in science subjects,” a PCTB source revealed.
