Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has officially confirmed that Grade 8 assessment exams will be conducted across the province.
Sharing the update on social media, the minister stated that the Grade 8 Assessment Exam will cover four subjects over four days.
“Inshallah, Grade 8 Assessment Exam will be conducted for four subjects over four days,” the minister wrote.
He further added that the smart syllabus for Grade 8 and Grade 11 will be announced next week.
“Smart syllabus for Grade 8 and Grade 11 to be announced next week, Inshallah,” he confirmed.
Earlier, the minister had announced that the smart syllabus for Grades 9 and 10 had already been uploaded on the official websites of all education boards and the School Education Department.
These reforms are part of the Punjab government’s broader efforts to streamline assessments, reduce academic pressure on students, and improve the evaluation system across the province.
