The Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP) has officially announced the launch date for the new phase of its Free Laptop Distribution Scheme.
According to an official update, the nationwide distribution will begin on October 30, 2025, in Islamabad.
“The wait’s almost over. Get ready for the grand distribution — starting on 30th October, 2025, in Islamabad. Stay tuned as we come to your region next!” the PMYP stated on social media.
The laptop scheme — a flagship initiative of the PM’s Youth Programme — aims to equip university and college students with digital tools to enhance education, promote digital literacy, and prepare them for the future job market.
Following the Islamabad launch, distribution will continue across all provinces, with regional schedules to be announced soon. Senior government officials and students from multiple universities are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
Thousands of students from higher education institutions nationwide are set to benefit from this latest phase, as the government pushes forward its agenda of Digital Pakistan.
