Pakistani Friendship Brings Lucky Gold Win in Riyadh

Riyadh: A 63-year-old Sri Lankan banker, Mohamed Nalim, has won a 250-gram 24-karat gold bar in the Big Ticket weekly electronic draw — all thanks to encouragement from his Pakistani friend who introduced him to the game years ago.

Nalim’s winning ticket number was 173160. He said he first learned about Big Ticket seven years ago from a Pakistani colleague who used to buy tickets regularly.

“My friend encouraged me to participate, and together with him and another friend, I began buying tickets,” Nalim shared.

After taking a break for a few years, Nalim decided to try again after watching Big Ticket ads on YouTube.
“When I got the winning call, I couldn’t believe it — but deep down, I always felt I’d win one day,” he said with a smile.

💛 Plans for the Gold Prize

Nalim, who works at a bank in Riyadh, said he plans to gift the gold bar to his wife in Sri Lanka, who will have it made into jewelry for their daughter.

He also plans to continue buying Big Ticket entries and has encouraged his colleagues to participate.

“Big Ticket is doing a wonderful job helping people, especially those in need,” he said.
