Gold Prices Drop Again in Pakistan — Rs. 3,500 Per Tola Down

Gold prices in Pakistan fell further on Thursday, following a continued downward trend in the international market.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 3,500, bringing it down to Rs. 433,862.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 3,001, settling at Rs. 371,966.

On Wednesday, gold had already fallen sharply by Rs. 7,538 per tola, hitting Rs. 437,362, marking a two-day cumulative drop of over Rs. 11,000.

💰 Global Market Trend

In the international market, gold prices also retreated as the US dollar strengthened, weighing on investor demand.
According to APGJSA, the global rate stood at $4,115 per ounce, reflecting a decline of $35, with a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, spot gold dropped 0.2% to $4,084.29 per ounce as of 0310 GMT, while US gold futures (December delivery) inched up by 0.9% to $4,100.90.

⚖️ Silver Prices Unchanged

Silver prices remained stable, with the price per tola holding steady at Rs. 5,110, showing no change from the previous day.

Experts say the local market is reacting to the volatility in the global bullion market, where traders await upcoming US inflation data that could determine the next move in Federal Reserve interest rates.
