Gold Price Falls Sharply After Global Market Decline

After several days of rising prices, gold rates across Pakistan have dropped sharply today.

According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, gold became Rs. 11,000 cheaper per tola in the local market.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola has now fallen to Rs. 434,000, while 22-karat gold is being sold at around Rs. 400,000 per tola. Similarly, 21-karat gold is priced at Rs. 382,425 per tola.

Jewellers said the decline in local prices follows a drop in the international gold market, where global rates have also fallen over the past few days.
