Cement prices in Pakistan saw a slight decline over the past week, according to the latest data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
The report shows that in northern cities, the average retail price of a cement bag fell to Rs. 1,369, marking a 0.29% decrease compared to the previous week’s rate of Rs. 1,373 per bag.
Meanwhile, in southern cities, the average cement price remained unchanged at Rs. 1,441 per bag, indicating price stability in those markets.
Overall, experts say the price adjustment reflects changing demand patterns and local market dynamics, as construction activity slows down in some regions while remaining steady in others.
